Terms & Conditions

Cancelling a workshop means additional work and costs for us. In preparing our courses, we need to schedule staff and make other necessary arrangements. Moreover, it is uncertain whether another person can take the vacated spot due to a cancellation. Therefore, there are costs associated with cancelling a workshop and changing ticket dates. In the event that the booking is cancelled in a timely manner, we may refund a portion of the ticket costs, as indicated below:

Applicability: These general terms and conditions apply to all workshops offered by Cafe Lief to individuals (hereinafter “Participant”).

Registration

1. Registration for a workshop is binding.
2. Cafe Lief reserves the right to refuse registration without providing a reason.

Payment

1. Participation in a workshop is confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
2. Payment must be made before the start of the workshop and guarantees your spot at the same time.

Cancellation and Refund

Late cancellation/no-show, and costs

1. You will receive a 50% refund of the workshop fee already charged if you notify us of the cancellation by email (accounts@cafelief.nl) within 14 working days before the start of a course.
2. No refund of the ticket will be provided for cancellations made 7 days before the course or in the case of a no-show.

Replacement

1. In case of your unavailability, you can transfer your ticket to another participant. Please notify us in advance via email (accounts@cafelief.nl). There are no additional costs associated with this. 

Liability

1. Cafe Lief is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings of the Participant.
2. The Participant is responsible for any damage caused to Cafe Lief’s property during the workshop.

Changes

Cafe Lief reserves the right to modify workshop dates, times, locations, and content. Participants will be informed promptly.

Visual Material

Cafe Lief has the right to capture photos and videos during workshops for promotional purposes. If the Participant objects, this must be communicated in writing beforehand.

Force Majeure

Cafe Lief is not liable for failure to meet obligations due to force majeure.

Applicable Law

These general terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law.

Disputes

Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Cafe Lief is located.


By participating in a workshop at Cafe Lief, the Participant declares agreement with these general terms and conditions.
