Nestled in the heart of Haarlem lies a unique Aotearoa-inspired dining experience. Lief’s philosophy can be best illustrated by an old Maori proverb, beautifully expressing our alignment with nature. “Ko au te whenua, ko te whenua ko au.” I am the land and the land is me. 

Our team embraces this appreciation for nature with a local, seasonal, ever-changing menu and an abundance of creativity. We rescue vegetables wherever possible, host community-minded events and choose to work with small suppliers that share our values.
